【Rapid Nucleic Acid Test of Coronavirus】Cepheid has developed an automated molecular test for the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. The test can provide rapid detection of the current pandemic coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 in approximately 45 minutes with less than a minute of hands on time to prepare the sample. Cepheid’s Xpert® Xpress SARS-CoV-2 kits has received Emergency Use Authorization from US FDA. Progressive Group Inc. also has received TFDA’s Emergency USE Authorization on import of the kit on April 8, 2020.
